What we collect

When you accept cookies, we record human footfalls — page views and approximate unique visitors — so we can understand traffic to our site. We store a SHA-256 hashed visitor identifier (derived from a random visitor id, IP, and user agent), the page path, a coarse referrer host (if present), and date-based aggregates. We filter known bots and crawlers out of these counts. We do not sell this data.

With the same consent we also load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4BHV4GC5Y7) to understand aggregated traffic and referrals. IP anonymization is enabled. Analytics scripts are not loaded if you decline.

Retention

Daily aggregate series are retained for about 45 days when Redis is configured. Cookie lifetimes are listed below. Internal traffic stats are available only to BORX staff with a dedicated analytics secret — not published publicly.

Cookies we set

• borx_cookie_consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics (1 year).
• borx_vid — anonymous visitor id used only after you accept, so we can count unique humans without accounts (180 days).

These are first-party cookies set by BORX. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.

Your choice

You can accept or decline via the banner (Escape declines). If you decline, we do not set the visitor cookie and we do not record footfalls. To change your choice later, clear site cookies for this domain and reload the page — the banner will appear again.

Contact inquiries

If you submit the contact form, we store your name, email, optional company and phone, and message so we can reply. Inquiries are retained for about 180 days when Redis is configured, and are visible only to BORX staff with the analytics secret. This is separate from cookie consent — the form is how you choose to contact us.
